Deck overview

This is a mono-red artifact engine led by Slobad, Iron Goblin. The deck uses cheap artifacts, mana rocks, sacrifice outlets, and recursion to build toward Mystic Forge and Aetherflux Reservoir. Goblin Engineer, Goblin Welder, Scrap Trawler, Daretti, Rocketeer Engineer, and Scrap Mastery give the deck useful recovery and value after artifacts enter the graveyard. Basalt Monolith and Voltaic Key provide an infinite colorless-mana loop, but the list lacks a dependable outlet that turns that mana into cards or lethal damage. Its main problems are slow access to the required payoff pair, limited interaction, and weak protection. The deck can generate impressive artifact boards and occasional large mana turns, but its ordinary execution does not reliably create a table-ending threat or a total lock. It is best viewed as a casual engine deck rather than a competitive combo deck.
