Deck overview

Admiral Brass, Unsinkable leads a hybrid Grixis deck that blends aggressive Pirate tribal and reanimation synergies with fast, competitive combo finishes. The deck leverages explosive mana velocity from low-cost mana rocks and rituals to establish early card advantage engines like Rhystic Study and Necropotence. Its primary victory route is the compact Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation line, backed by a secondary infinite damage loop featuring Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Glint-Horn Buccaneer. Admiral Brass serves as a repeatable reanimator and mill engine, granting haste and substantial combat stats to discarded or milled Pirates. A robust package of free and one-mana countermagic, along with flexible removal, shields the deck's proactive combo lines while disrupting opposing game plans. Although the inclusion of basic land duplicates slightly weakens Tainted Pact, the deck maintains high redundancy, rapid recovery through Underworld Breach and cheap reanimation spells, and a lethal clock capable of closing games as early as Turn 3.
