Deck overview

This mono-green deck focuses on overwhelming opponents with an expanding army of Ooze creatures and +1/+1 counter multiplication. Led by Aeve, Progenitor Ooze, the deck sequences cheap setup spells and token generators to trigger storm on Aeve, creating multiple scaling Ooze copies. Counter doublers such as Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, and The Earth Crystal rapidly turn modest Ooze tokens into massive threats. Meanwhile, cards like Brawn and Temperamental Oozewagg ensure the board pushes lethal combat damage past blockers. With self-scaling cards like Slime Against Humanity, the deck maintains strong standalone pressure even without its commander. While its proactive game plan is robust, the deck relies primarily on combat damage and runs minimal reactive removal, making it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and fast combo strategies.
