Pitiless Parley by Ma99ots

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain Howler, Sea Scourge

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet discard-aggro deck uses Captain Howler, Sea Scourge as a pump and draw engine. You loot and cycle aggressively, and Howler gives +2/+0 per card discarded to a creature that then draws you a card when it hits. The primary plan is to push a hard-to-block Pirate like Invisible Stalker, Ghost of Ramirez DePietro, or a crewed Vehicle for growing commander-boosted damage. Secondary paths are ping wins: Curiosity on Glint-Horn Buccaneer with Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator creates infinite discard-damage-draw-treasure, and Brallin, Skyshark Rider with Magmakin Artillerist and Curiosity does the same. Rielle, the Everwise and Malcolm act as hidden commanders that keep the engine running without Howler.
