Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Red Goblin aggressive strategy commanded by Krenko, Mob Boss. The primary game plan establishes an early presence of low-cost Goblins on Turns 1 through 3, casts Krenko on Turn 4, and uses Krenko's tap ability on Turn 5 to initiate exponential token growth. Once Krenko begins doubling the Goblin count, the deck converts token volume into game-ending damage through wide combat attacks boosted by anthems like Goblin Chieftain and Door of Destinies, or direct burn triggers from Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Goblin Bombardment. The deck features high tribal synergy, resilient linear backup plans, and explosive burst mana from cards like Skirk Prospector and Mana Geyser. Its primary limitations are a lack of tutors for non-creature cards, limited instant-speed stack protection for Krenko, and vulnerability to well-timed creature sweepers.
