Commander: Commander Mustard

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Commander Mustard is a Boros Soldier-aggro deck built to turn a wide board of Soldiers into hasty, trampling, vigilant damage. The primary plan is to curve cheap Soldiers into the commander, then activate his attack trigger each combat to add chip damage. Secondary paths are mentor-based combat tricks, token generation, and a large Finale of Glory as a finisher. The commander is the deck's engine rather than a hidden commander; its activated ability doubles as direct damage. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins by incremental combat plus one haymaker token spell.
