Deck overview

Captain America, First Avenger is a Jeskai Equipment deck built around a simple loop: suit up the Commander, attack, then Throw equipped artifacts for direct damage. Catch makes the first piece of Equipment free each combat, while large-mana Equipment such as Excalibur and Mjolnir turn Captain into both a 14-power beater and a targeted removal spell. The secondary, faster plan is Godo, Bandit Warlord plus Helm of the Host, which creates unlimited combat phases for a one-turn kill. Supporting Equipment-matters creatures draw cards, reduce equip costs, and recur Equipment. There is no separate hidden commander; Godo is the most important noncommander engine, and the deck leans on him whenever he appears.
