Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Winter, Misanthropic Guide leads a group-hug-into-punisher strategy that combines rapid card draw with hand constriction and life loss. Winter provides everyone with cards while Delirium shrinks opponents maximum hand sizes down to three or fewer. As opponents are forced to discard down each turn and draw additional cards from symmetrical draw engines, punishers such as Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, Megrim, and Liliana's Caress rapidly deplete their life totals. Burst discard spells like Dark Deal and Wheel of Misfortune trigger massive damage spikes. The backup plan leverages Delirium payoffs, Field of the Dead zombie swarms, and Emrakul, the Promised End to close the game.
