Commander: Ezuri, Claw of Progress

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Simic deck is built around Ezuri, Claw of Progress and a +1/+1 counter theme, aiming to generate incremental value through small creatures, proliferate effects, and counter-doubling enchantments. Ezuri converts each low-power creature you cast into experience counters, then distributes those as +1/+1 counters onto an attacker each combat. The deck then churns out tokens, grows unblockable threats, and can pivot to an alternate win via Simic Ascendancy. Without infinite combos, it relies on combat inevitability and counter proliferation to close games, typically by turns 8-9. The primary plan is to accumulate experience counters, scale up a resilient evasive creature, and leverage proliferate to race to twenty growth counters or lethal poison/infect damage.
