Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari aristocrats and token swarm strategy helmed by Beledros Witherbloom. The primary game plan focuses on ramping aggressively during the opening turns using a dense suite of 1- and 2-mana acceleration. Once Beledros enters the battlefield on Turn 5, its activated ability untaps all lands for 10 life, doubling available mana to deploy critical drain pieces like Bastion of Remembrance, Mirkwood Bats, and Blood Artist. Each player's upkeep generates a 1/1 Pest token, amassing a wide board that drains opponents through sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar or swings for lethal via Craterhoof Behemoth. The deck also includes an infinite combo between Dina, Soul Steeper and Exquisite Blood, which ends the game immediately upon any life gain or loss. While lacking stack interaction and universal tutors, the deck compensates with deep functional redundancy, potent board wipes, and massive card draw engines like Skullclamp and Shamanic Revelation.
