Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Bear tribal and stompy aggro strategy commanded by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan accelerates mana on turns 1 to 3 using efficient mana dorks like Birds of Paradise and cheap changelings like Chomping Changeling. On turn 4, Beorn the Fierce enters the battlefield and uses its combat trigger to grant trample counters, convert non-Bears into Bears, buff the team with a +2/+2 anthem, and draw two fresh cards every turn. On turns 5 and 6, the deck deploys massive threats such as Elder Gargaroth, Surrak and Goreclaw, and Unnatural Growth to overrun opponents with trampling combat damage. While the deck boasts high card draw velocity and resilient standalone beaters, its reliance on combat damage over multiple turn cycles leaves it exposed to mass board wipes and targeted interaction.
