Deck overview

Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER commands an aggressive Naya equipment deck designed to cheat equip costs and generate overwhelming combat pressure. The deck leverages self-equipping permanents, including Living Weapon and For Mirrodin cards, to establish early board presence without needing standalone creature investments. Once Cloud enters the battlefield on Turn 4, its innate haste and free attachment ability immediately weaponize high-impact equipment like Nettlecyst or Batterskull. Attacking on the entry turn draws cards and generates Treasure tokens when Cloud's power reaches seven or greater, converting aggression directly into resource velocity. On Turn 5, the deck scales into a decisive must-answer state using combat doublers and extra combat engines such as Genji Glove, Hexplate Wallbreaker, and Tifa, Martial Artist, or massive trample buffs from Craterclaw Colossus and Overwhelming Stampede.
