Format: Commander

Commander: Felothar the Steadfast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is an Abzan toughness-matters battlecruiser built around Felothar the Steadfast, who lets every defender assign damage with toughness and turns creatures into repeatable card draw. Primary plan is to assemble a wall-heavy board, use Felothar or a redundancy enabler such as Doran/Assault Formation/Bedrock Tortoise to make toughness lethal, then sacrifice the same walls after combat for huge draw. Secondary paths run through Betor, Kin to All's life-halving threshold, Tree of Perdition's life exchange, and Last March of the Ents's draw-and-cheat. A big-mana finisher such as Canopy Gargantuan or The Walls of Ba Sing Se usually provides the killing blow after an end-step Betor trigger. Doran, the Siege Tower is effectively a hidden commander, with Assault Formation and Bedrock Tortoise as redundancy.
