Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-red Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary plan revolves around deploying early mana acceleration and cost reducers such as Dragonlord's Servant, Dragonspeaker Shaman, and Herald's Horn to cast Lathliss ahead of curve on Turn 5. Once Lathliss is on the battlefield, casting additional Dragons triggers her ability to generate 5/5 flying Dragon tokens, quickly creating an overwhelming airborne assault. Synergies like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Utvara Hellkite turn every creature deployment into direct damage and exponential board expansion. The deck controls opposing creature swarms using asymmetric damage sweepers like Breath Weapon and broad resets like Blasphemous Act. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and countermagic due to limited stack interaction, the deck presents high threat density that can eliminate the entire table in two attack cycles once its flying army takes flight.
