The Price of Ever After by user6284179

Format: Commander

Commander: The Wandering Minstrel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Despite the Town-tribal face, this is a five-color planeswalker deck. The Wandering Minstrel exists mainly to let the 11 Towns and 5 Triomes enter untapped, fixing WUBRG while providing occasional token beats. Primary plan: ramp into a critical mass of planeswalkers and use Deepglow Skate, Oath of Teferi, The Chain Veil, and proliferate effects to reach ultimates-Dihada's -11 is the most explosive finisher, while Teferi/Elspeth emblems grind out. Secondary plans: a large Torment of Hailfire from Smothering Tithe/Treasures, and the Minstrel's own anthem as a combat closer. There is no true hidden commander; Dihada, Binder of Wills acts as the honorary superfriends anchor.
