Mustard by Shaned229

Format: Commander

Commander: Commander Mustard

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Commander Mustard leads a Boros Soldier tribal swarm that wins by flooding the board with tokens and pumping them with anthems. The primary plan is go-wide combat: create many 1/1 Soldiers, boost them with lords and enchantments, then attack with vigilance, trample and haste from the commander. Secondary paths use ping damage from Impact Tremors and Warleader's Call and the commander's activated ping ability to close games without combat. Elspeth, Storm Slayer acts as a hidden commander that doubles tokens, while Myrel and Cathars' Crusade provide explosive turns. The deck plays as a resilient midrange board deck that rebuilds quickly after wipes and protects its board for a decisive alpha strike.
