Deck overview

This Naya deck utilizes Toph, the First Metalbender to turn artifacts into lands and continuously animate lands into resilient attacking creatures. The strategy accelerates in the early turns using efficient land ramp and dorks, deploying Toph by Turn 4 to begin animating lands that return to the battlefield tapped if destroyed or exiled. In the midgame, the deck scales up with +1/+1 counters and landfall engines, setting up lethal combat steps via Moraug, Fury of Akoum, Bumi, Unleashed, and Avatar Kyoshi, Earthbender. It also features an infinite combat loop with Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and Bumi, Unleashed. Built-in land recursion makes the board exceptionally resilient against traditional sweepers like Hour of Revelation, which destroys all nonland permanents while leaving the land army intact.
