Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari token aristocrats build led by Slimefoot, the Stowaway. The primary strategy focuses on generating a high volume of 1/1 green Saproling tokens using spore-counter Fungi, burst token sorceries, and recurring engines like Tendershoot Dryad and Mycoloth. Once a substantial board presence is established, the deck leverages sacrifice outlets such as Ashnod's Altar and Fungal Plots alongside death-trigger payoffs like Slimefoot, Mirkwood Bats, and Zulaport Cutthroat to drain opponents' life totals while gaining life. The deck operates on a steady midgame curve, assembling its core engine around Turn 5 and threatening game-ending drain bursts by Turn 8. While Slimefoot, the Stowaway naturally punishes traditional destruction board wipes through retaliatory death triggers, the deck has minimal stack interaction and remains vulnerable to exile-based sweepers.
