Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its game plan centers on ramping aggressively in the first three turns using cost reducers and mana artifacts, resolving Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm on Turn 4 or 5, and immediately following with devastating Dragon threats. Because Miirym creates nonlegendary token copies of every nontoken Dragon that enters the battlefield, single threats like Utvara Hellkite, Scourge of Valkas, and Atarka, World Render turn into lethal board states in a single turn. Card advantage engines such as Temur Ascendancy and Kindred Discovery trigger twice for each cast Dragon, refilling the hand effortlessly. The deck uses asymmetric wipes like Breath Weapon and Desolation of Smaug to sweep away opposing utility creatures while leaving its massive fliers intact. The deck reliably closes games on Turn 7 via overwhelming evasive combat damage and direct enter-the-battlefield burn.
