Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Dimir reanimator and creature-duplication engine commanded by Runo Stromkirk. The primary plan accelerates in the opening turns using efficient mana rocks and graveyard setup like Entomb and Buried Alive. Runo enters on Turn 3, stacking a 6+ mana value Sea Monster onto the library to trigger his transformation into Krothuss, Lord of the Deep on Turn 4 upkeep. Once Krothuss attacks on Turn 5 alongside a reanimated behemoth, his triggered ability creates two tapped and attacking copies. Duplicating Spawning Kraken, Scourge of Fleets, or Junk Winder generates immense pressure, wiping opposing boards or creating a swarm of 9/9 Krakens. The deck closes the game on Turn 6 with lethal evasive combat damage across all three opponents. Supported by uncounterable lands, high-impact bounce engines, and clone effects, the deck maintains a steady, resilient midgame clock.
