Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats strategy led by Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. It pairs low-cost drain engines and token producers with compact reanimation loops to achieve deterministic table kills. The primary win condition leverages Animate Dead or Necromancy alongside Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward or Leonin Relic-Warder. When either creature enters from the graveyard, it exiles the reanimation aura; when the aura leaves, the creature is sacrificed, returning the aura to repeat the cycle indefinitely. With Elas il-Kor or redundant drain pieces like Bastion of Remembrance and Zulaport Cutthroat on the battlefield, this loop drains each opponent's life total to zero in a single turn. Supporting lines include Reveillark and Karmic Guide loops, persist synergies with Thran Vigil, and value engines like Skullclamp. The deck features versatile permanent removal, though it relies on speed and redundancy rather than proactive protection spells.
