Format: Commander

Commander: Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck uses Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker to generate immense, recurring value from low-power creatures. By sacrificing creatures with power 1 or less each turn, Shirei returns them to play at every end step, triggering abilities during each player's turn. The primary game plan drains opponents using death-trigger payoff creatures while controlling opposing boards with repeatable sacrifice removal. A secondary win line leverages continuous sacrifice recursion into sudden life-drain bursts using spells like Plumb the Forbidden and Killing Wave, or generating overwhelming mana via Pitiless Plunderer to feed continuous drain loops.
