Deck overview

This is a Mardu goblin/orc tribal token deck commanded by Zurgo Stormrender. The core strategy revolves around generating a steady stream of warrior tokens via his mobilise trigger, then using sacrifice outlets and drain effects to grind down opponents while keeping cards flowing. The deck pairs classic goblin lords (Goblin King, Goblin Trashmaster) with persistent value engines like Pitiless Plunderer and Ashnod's Altar to convert creatures into mana and life loss. While not a fast combo deck, it creates overwhelming board presence through repeatable token generators (Krenko, Mob Boss, Siege-Gang Lieutenant) and wins via incremental drain from Bastion of Remembrance, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Pashalik Mons. Recurring key pieces with Wort, Boggart Auntie and Unburial Rites gives the deck resilience, but it remains a grindy, value-oriented build that snowballs rather than spikes.
