Deck overview

This deck is a focused Golgari Token Aristocrats build commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The strategy centers on leveraging Chatterfang's passive ability to double token generation by creating additional 1/1 green Squirrel creature tokens whenever any token enters the battlefield under your control. The deck accelerates through early mana dorks, artifact ramp, and cheap token creators, establishing Chatterfang on Turn 3. By Turn 4, it deploys engine pieces like Academy Manufactor, Peregrin Took, or Tireless Provisioner to rapidly generate massive board presence while using Chatterfang's sacrifice ability to control opposing utility creatures. On Turns 5 to 6, the deck converts wide token boards into table-wide lethal damage via aristocrats drain effects like Mirkwood Bats, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance, or combat overruns using Beastmaster Ascension and End-Raze Forerunners. Rich card draw from Skullclamp and Plumb the Forbidden provides exceptional fuel and resilience against standard removal.
