Deck overview

This list is an optimized cEDH turbo combo deck helmed by Codie, Vociferous Codex. The central game plan leverages Codie's activated ability to turn any 1-mana instant or sorcery into an automatic cascade into Profane Tutor, the only 0-CMC instant or sorcery in the 99. Tutoring and casting a ritual like Burnt Offering or Culling the Weak produces mana while removing Codie from the battlefield, lifting its restriction against casting permanent spells. This immediately funds Ad Nauseam, drawing deep into positive-mana artifacts, free interaction, and the definitive win condition: Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. Supported by format-ceiling fast mana and split-second/silence protection, the deck reliably attempts a protected, game-ending storm line on turn 2 or 3.
