Deck overview

This deck is a high-power 5-color Villain typal midrange and control strategy helmed by Thanos, the Mad Titan. It leverages efficient early ramp dorks and land fetch spells to deploy a synergistic suite of Villain creatures that repeatedly connive, filter cards, and generate creature tokens. Thanos acts as a repeatable asymmetric board wipe from the command zone, clearing opposing boards of odd or even mana values at a discounted cost on the turn he enters. The deck transitions into the late game by locking down interaction on its turn with Grand Abolisher, providing airborne haste buffs through The Squadron Sinister, and deploying mass reanimation spells like Behold the Sinister Six! and Rise of the Dark Realms. A premier protection package featuring Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, and free commander spells ensures the board survives opposing disruption to close games through combat.
