Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis reanimator build helmed by Sedris, the Traitor King, focused on cheating large creatures onto the battlefield via the commander's unearth ability and then keeping them permanently with end-the-turn effects or flicker. The primary plan involves looting spells to fill the graveyard, then using Sedris to repeatedly return high-impact threats like Etali, Primal Storm and Lord Xander, the Collector for massive value. Sundial of the Infinite and Obeka, Brute Chronologist are the core tools to bypass unearth's exile trigger, while Conjurer's Closet and Deadeye Navigator provide alternative ways to flicker and reset the delayed exile. The deck also runs traditional reanimation spells as backup. It wins through combat damage from evasive, powerful creatures supported by enter-the-battlefield damage triggers from Warstorm Surge and Flayer of the Hatebound.
