Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Bat tribal midrange strategy centered on Zoraline, Cosmos Caller. It develops an early board of evasive, low-mana Bats to trigger lifegain whenever they attack. Zoraline leverages this aggressive foundation by reanimating key low-mana permanents from the graveyard upon entering the battlefield or attacking, granting continuous card advantage and board resilience. As the board expands, payoffs such as Starscape Cleric, Valley Rotcaller, Marauding Blight-Priest, and Mirkwood Bats convert each combat swing and lifegain trigger into symmetric life loss for opponents. While the deck contains a lethal infinite loop between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Marauding Blight-Priest, it operates without tutors, leaning primarily on evasive combat and steady drain to close games around Turn 9. The interactive suite is rich in spot removal, though the lack of countermagic and protective spells leaves wide boards vulnerable to sweepers.
