Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Kindred Elf and Faerie strategy led by Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The game plan accelerates mana in the opening turns with efficient mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Woodland Weavemaster to establish a wide creature presence. Once Maralen, Fae Ascendant enters the battlefield, every subsequent Elf or Faerie you play exiles cards from opponents' libraries and allows you to cast their spells for free, scaling directly with your creature count. The deck converts this steady card advantage and mana generation into an overwhelming combat board. Heavy hitters and tribal payoffs like Lathril, Blade of the Elves, Elvish Archdruid, and Thranduil, Sindarin Liege pump your army and create tokens. A strong suite of interactive spells, recursion, and mass bounce through Cyclonic Rift clears obstacles, allowing your swarm to close out the game across two to three combat steps.
