Drana and Linvala by Rary

Format: Commander

Commander: Drana and Linvala

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Orzhov deck wins by turning lifegain into direct damage. It assembles pairs like Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Marauding Blight-Priest or Starscape Cleric, so every point of life gained drains opponents and, with Bloodthirsty Conqueror, loops infinitely. Angels such as Resplendent Angel, Archangel of Thune, and Lyra Dawnbringer provide a second path through combat, growing the board while triggering lifegain. Aetherflux Reservoir and Exsanguinate offer alternate finishes. Drana and Linvala does not drive the win; it locks opponents by shutting off creature activated abilities and copying them. Sanguine Bond effects act as the hidden engine the deck tutors for.
