Deck overview

This is a five-color control deck helmed by Child of Alara, built around its death trigger as a repeatable, one-sided-in-effect board wipe. The primary win condition is the classic Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation / Tainted Pact combo, assembled through one of the densest tutor suites in the format. The deck's game plan is to control the board with nine symmetric wipes, fog effects, and Glacial Chasm while it digs for its two-card kill, then execute the combo behind free counterspells and Silence-class protection. Secondary paths include grinding out with Child of Alara's 6/6 trample body and resetting the game with The Great Aurora. This is a "wipe the board, then combo" control strategy that trades tempo for inevitability.
