freerunning assassins by pfanntim63

Commander: Evie Frye and Jacob Frye

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir Assassin tribal deck is helmed by the partner pair Evie Frye and Jacob Frye, leveraging combat damage triggers to enable freerunning costs and graveyard recursion. The primary game plan is to deploy a swarm of Assassins, use Evie's looting to filter cards and grant unblockable, then connect with opponents to trigger Jacob's ability-exiling and copying Assassin cards from the graveyard for repeat value. The deck wins through combat damage amplified by lords like Ramses, Assassin Lord (who grants an alternate win condition when a player loses after being attacked by an Assassin) or Etrata, the Silencer (who exiles cards with hit counters to eliminate a player). Secondary paths include Unstoppable Slasher halving life totals and Rooftop Bypass generating a steady token army. The deck is a midrange tempo strategy that relies on consistent combat steps to fuel its engine.
