Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Wizard-tribal spellslinger deck helmed by Gandalf, Party Guest, whose combat trigger free-casts an instant or sorcery with mana value up to twice your legendary Wizard count. The deck leans hard into that condition, packing roughly twenty legendary Wizards - Gandalf variants, Kykar, Wind's Fury, Talrand, Sky Summoner, Mizzix of the Izmagnus, Alania, Divergent Storm, Arcanis the Omnipotent, and more - to inflate X and chain free spells every combat. The plan is to convert those free casts into card advantage (Whirlwind of Thought, Jori En, Ruin Diver), token armies (Talrand, Kykar), and eventually a massive storm turn. Primary wins are combat through pumped Wizard tokens (Balmor, Battlemage Captain, Adeliz, the Cinder Wind) or a haymaker finisher like Thousand-Year Storm, Improvisation Capstone, Omniscience, or Full Throttle extra combats.
