Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Simic Landfall strategy commanded by Zimone, Mystery Unraveler. It focuses on ramping ahead of curve with low-mana spells and extra land-drop enablers like Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove. Once Zimone enters the battlefield, multiple land drops per turn allow you to manifest dread on the first trigger and turn any face-down permanent face up for free on subsequent triggers. This enables early deployment of massive game-warping threats such as Portal to Phyrexia, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Koma, World-Eater, and Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. In addition to creature cheating, the deck utilizes Scroll of Fate to manifest bombs from hand and runs a devastating land-destruction package with Strip Mine and Crucible of Worlds. Opponents face simultaneous mana denial, hand depletion, and overwhelming combat damage.
