Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Elfball and -1/-1 counter attrition deck led by High Perfect Morcant. It combines traditional Elf mana acceleration with a unique board-suppression engine. Early turns focus on ramping with low-cost mana dorks like Llanowar Elves, Arbor Elf, and Priest of Titania. On Turn 4, deploying Morcant turns every entering Elf into an asymmetric blight trigger that places -1/-1 counters on opposing creatures, while tapping Elves proliferates those counters to clear the board. Synergies like Generous Patron convert opposing counters into massive card draw, while Necroskitter steals dying opposing creatures. The deck transitions into a lethal win on Turn 5 using creature tutors such as Natural Order and Chord of Calling to deploy overwhelming finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, or Ezuri, Renegade Leader, wiping the table by Turn 6.
