Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black attrition and Voltron strategy commanded by Vincent Valentine // Galian Beast. The deck uses symmetrical sacrifice effects and targeted removal to clear opposing creatures from the battlefield. Whenever an opponent's creature dies, Vincent gains +1/+1 counters equal to that creature's power. When Vincent attacks, he transforms into Galian Beast, gaining trample and lifelink to push heavy commander damage through blockers while padding your life total. High-end threats like Archfiend of Depravity, Butcher of Malakir, and Zodiark, Umbral God keep opposing boards clear, while alternate beaters like Yahenni, Undying Partisan and Zenos yae Galvus // Shinryu, Transcendent Rival provide backup win conditions. The deck excels at grinding down creature-based strategies, though it relies on natural card flow and has limited interaction against noncreature combo decks and artifact-heavy boards.
