Deck overview

This Jeskai deck leverages the time travel and suspend mechanics through the partner pairing of The Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler. The deck establishes an early presence by deploying Rose Tyler on turn 2 and developing mana rocks, vanishing enchantments, or suspend cards on turns 3 and 4. Once The Tenth Doctor enters on turn 5, attacking with both commanders initiates a powerful engine: the Doctor exiles and suspends spells from the library, while Rose Tyler accumulates time counters for every suspended card and counter-bearing permanent, rapidly growing her power and toughness. The primary route to victory is Voltron commander damage delivered through unblockable effects like Trailblazer's Boots and Suspicious Bookcase, supplemented by token swarms from Dinosaurs on a Spaceship and board stabilization from asymmetric sweepers like Everything Comes to Dust. While resilient against wipes due to cards ticking down safely in exile, the deck remains vulnerable to instant-speed interaction and lacks hard counterspells.
