Windgrace by JakesMyth

Format: Commander

Commander: Lord Windgrace

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a lands-matter value engine deck helmed by Lord Windgrace, built to generate overwhelming card advantage and board presence through landfall triggers and graveyard recursion. The game plan revolves around ramping aggressively, filling the graveyard with lands via dredge and discard effects, then reanimating them en masse with spells like Splendid Reclamation and Scapeshift to trigger a cascade of landfall payoffs - Omnath, Locus of Rage for 5/5 Elemental tokens, Ob Nixilis, the Fallen for life drain, Scute Swarm for exponential creature growth, and Field of the Dead for endless 2/2 Zombies. The commander acts as a repeatable card-selection engine and land-reanimation tool, while secondary lines like The Gitrog Monster + Seismic Assault + Life from the Loam enable a slow burn kill. The deck ultimately wins through overwhelming combat or repeated lifedrain, with no instant-speed infinite combos but plenty of synergistic loops.
