Deck overview

This Orzhov Voltron deck focuses on Squall, SeeD Mercenary to eliminate opponents through high-powered solo attacks. Squall grants itself double strike whenever it attacks alone, doubling the impact of stat-boosting equipment like Colossus Hammer and Excalibur, Sword of Eden. Each time Squall deals combat damage to a player, it returns a permanent with mana value 3 or less from the graveyard to the battlefield. Because double strike deals damage in two separate combat damage steps, connecting unblocked triggers this reanimation ability twice per turn. This engine cheats equipment, utility creatures, and lands back into play while dealing lethal commander damage. Supporting pieces like Puresteel Paladin and Codsworth, Handy Helper bypass steep equip costs, while protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Flawless Maneuver keep Squall alive. The deck finishes games by eliminating opponents sequentially across turns 4 to 6.
