Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu aggressive synergy strategy commanded by Vihaan, Goldwaker. The game plan revolves around rapidly generating Treasure tokens through low-cost creatures and spells, then using Vihaan to transform those tokens into 3/3 Construct Assassin creatures with vigilance and haste during combat. Because animated Treasures retain vigilance, they can attack for substantial combat damage and still be tapped for mana to cast post-combat spells or fuel aristocrat drain effects like Mirkwood Bats and Juri, Master of the Revue. The deck incorporates goad mechanics to manipulate opposing combat steps, forcing opponents to whittle down each other's life totals while clearing blocking lanes. Although it lacks infinite combos and counterspell protection, the deck excels at generating overwhelming board presence, capitalizing on creature deaths, and casting decisive late-game spells such as Ruinous Ultimatum and Blood for the Blood God!.
