Deck overview

This Gruul deck uses Roxanne, Starfall Savant to generate explosive mana and direct damage through artifact tokens. Roxanne creates Meteorite tokens whenever she enters or attacks, dealing 2 damage per token while doubling the mana produced by all artifact tokens under your control. The primary strategy accelerates Roxanne onto the battlefield by Turn 4 using efficient ramp spells like Farseek, Nature's Lore, and Sol Ring. Once operational on Turn 5, Roxanne attacks to create additional Meteorites and unlocks substantial mana reserves. This massive mana pool fuels game-ending burn spells such as Crackle with Power and Jaya's Immolating Inferno, or powers artifact-based damage amplifiers including City on Fire, Furnace of Rath, and Ingenious Artillerist. The deck pairs high-synergy Treasure engines like Goldspan Dragon and Academy Manufactor with flexible removal and targeted protection spells. While vulnerable to early creature removal and artifact sweepers, the deck consistently threatens lethal multi-target damage by Turn 7.
