Deck overview

This Jeskai deck focuses on aggressive Human tribal synergies led by Éowyn, Shieldmaiden. The strategy establishes a low-curve creature foundation during the first three turns, followed by casting Éowyn to generate a continuous stream of 2/2 trample and haste Knight tokens. The deck turns wide token boards into decisive combat damage using powerful anthems such as Shared Animosity, Beregond of the Guard, and Virtue of Loyalty. Evasion and combat disruption from Aragorn, King of Gondor and Taunt from the Rampart ensure attacks bypass opposing blockers. The deck defends its board with an array of protective spells including Flare of Fortitude and Unbreakable Formation. While it lacks infinite combos and tutor density, it maintains steady momentum through monarch draw triggers and resilient token engines like Horn of Gondor, reliably threatening to overwhelm the table between Turns 6 and 8.
