Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER leads a mono-black aristocrats strategy focused on sacrificing disposable creatures for card draw and continuous life drain. The commander provides reliable early card advantage and incremental damage before transforming into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, which grants an irreversible death-drain emblem and mass card draw upon attacking. The primary path to victory uses deterministic sacrifice loops such as Warren Soultrader with Forsaken Miner, or Gravecrawler paired with Phyrexian Altar and Blood Artist. Secondary win conditions include overwhelming drain with Tombstone Stairwell, massive life swings from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and lethal mana sinks like Torment of Hailfire.
