Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul enchantment aggro deck helmed by Bello, Bard of the Brambles. The strategy capitalizes on Bello's static ability, which transforms all non-Aura enchantments and non-Equipment artifacts with mana value 4 or greater into 4/4 Elemental creatures with indestructible, haste, and combat-damage card draw during your turn. By packing 6 pregame Leylines, the deck frequently enters Turn 1 with 4-CMC permanents already on the board at zero mana cost. Deploying Bello on Turn 2 or 3 immediately turns these enchantments into hasty, resilient attackers that generate card advantage. The deck compounds this board presence by slamming overwhelming damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation, Gratuitous Violence, Unnatural Growth, and Berserkers' Onslaught, or assembling the infinite combat combo of Aggravated Assault and Nature's Will. Robust protection spells like Deflecting Swat, Heroic Intervention, and Veil of Summer keep Bello alive to finish games quickly by Turn 6.
