Format: Commander

Commander: Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim leads an Orzhov aristocrats and lifegain deck. The deck combines soul sister lifegain triggers with passive drain and token swarm engines. Your early turns focus on establishing incidental lifegain through your commander, Soul Warden, and Soul's Attendant. You then generate token armies with Griffin Aerie, Oketra's Monument, and Thalisse, Reverent Medium while drawing cards with Caretaker's Talent and Enduring Innocence. The primary win conditions rely on converting massive lifegain into lethal burn using Sanguine Bond, Enduring Tenacity, and Starscape Cleric, draining life totals through repeated sacrifice and token creation with Mirkwood Bats, or casting a lethal Debt to the Deathless.
