Deck overview

This is a high-variance Jund (B,R,G) sacrifice-and-cheat deck helmed by Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire. The primary plan is to attack with Vaevictis, forcing each player to sacrifice a permanent, then both sides cheat the top card of their library into play if it's a permanent. The deck leans heavily into the sacrifice sub-theme with drain effects like Blood Artist and Juri, Master of the Revue, and value engines such as Korvold, Fae-Cursed King and Ziatora, the Incinerator. There are no infinite combos; winning is a matter of accumulating incremental advantage via repeated Vaevictis attacks, extra-combat spells (Moraug, Fury of Akoum), and eventual combat damage or Blood Artist pings. The commander is the primary engine, but the deck can also cheat creatures through Monster Manual and Doors of Durin.
