Commander: Questing Beast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Questing Beast leads a lethal mono-green aggressive strategy focused on eliminating opponents with poison counters and unpreventable combat damage. The primary game plan deploys low-cost infect and toxic creatures alongside deathtouch attackers empowered by Fynn, the Fangbearer. Questing Beast provides immediate four-power haste pressure while breaking the symmetry of fog effects like Fog and Root Snare, preventing opposing damage while allowing your creatures to strike freely. Midgame engines like Evolution Sage and Bloated Contaminator continuously proliferate counters to bypass defensive boards. The deck closes games swiftly by overrunning opponents with Triumph of the Hordes, Finale of Devastation, or an unblockable Blightsteel Colossus.
