Shelob on my Knob by user2490083

Format: Commander

Commander: Shelob, Child of Ungoliant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari deck leans heavily into the Spider tribal theme, leveraging deathtouch and fight spells to control the board. The commander, Shelob, Child of Ungoliant, turns any creature that dies to a Spider's combat damage into a Food token copy, generating long-term advantage. The deck's primary path to victory is combat damage: it develops a board of Spiders, deathtough bodies, and token generators, then finishes with mass pump effects like Overwhelming Stampede or Beastmaster Ascension. Secondary win conditions include drain effects from Obelisk Spider, Rotwidow Pack, and Ishkanah, Grafwidow, as well as a large Spider Spawning turn. The deck is a midrange, value-oriented build that aims to outgrind opponents through repeated fight-removal and recursive threats.
