Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Discard Control and Pox-style attrition strategy that systematically empties all players' hands to create a hellbent game state. While symmetrical discard spells strip resources across the table, the deck breaks parity using draw engines like Tinybones, Trinket Thief, Waste Not, and Asylum Visitor, alongside resilient graveyard mechanics like escape and reanimation. Once opponents are forced into topdeck mode, cards such as Painful Quandary, Rottenmouth Viper, Bandit's Talent, and Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger apply severe damage taxes and combat pressure. Malfegor resides in the command zone as a high-impact asymmetric board wipe and aerial finisher when hands are emptied. The deck excels at grinding out opposing combo and control strategies by removing their hand resources, though its lack of traditional mana acceleration and stack interaction means it operates at a deliberate, mid-game pace.
