Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dimir Zombie Aristocrats strategy that leverages the graveyard as a second hand. Led by Gisa and Geralf, the deck focuses on milling creature cards, generating disposable Zombie tokens, and sacrificing them for mana, cards, and damage. Early turns focus on setup through self-mill spells like Stitcher's Supplier and Buried Alive, as well as mana rocks. By the midgame, the deck establishes card advantage engines through Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, Undead Augur, and repeatable commander casts. The deck can close out games via mass reanimation with Living Death and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or through an infinite sacrifice loop utilizing Gravecrawler, Phyrexian Altar, and a drain creature like Diregraf Captain. While highly resilient to board wipes, the deck is vulnerable to targeted graveyard exile and lacks artifact removal.
